Standard Chartered
Reporting is important for businesses to comply with regulations, audit their finances, and reconcile their accounts. An all-in-one reporting centre makes it easy for businesses to access, customize, and schedule their reports.
Identifying the pain points
We must understand our users' pain points and how they are blocked from achieving their goals. Mapping out the customer journey can help us see how opportunities and goals align. We then analyze what our competitors are doing, which can give us a competitive advantage.

How we solve
By using the prioritization matrix method, we can prioritize the most important features based on user feedback to improve customer loyalty and reduce friction. We have identified the following two priorities:
Dashboard Overview
Displayed all reports upfront by segmentation on different tabs for each type of report, providing a clear call to action to create a new report.

Report Preview
Users can execute primary actions upfront in the form of quick actions for each report that include search and filter details. A quick view of a report can be edited before exporting.

Validate in Usability Testing
Before testing, we map out what tasks we need to prioritize to validate our hypothesis. This helps us validate our hypothesis when the data is not qualitative.

Learnings
We have found some things to improve in the reporting module, like breaking down tasks into smaller steps and the need for sharing. We also learned more about what customers need from reporting tools and how Standard Chartered can help.
